DANCE OF THE STARS

for Vacheron Constantin

An exhibition piece made for Vacheron Constantin. Inspired by an Astrolabe - an ancient astronomical object that can tell the placement of the stars in the sky at any certain time. This light astrolabe portrays the constellations in the sky above us. The use of silk fabrics and transparency allows the light to shine through and create an airy feeling.
Information such as time and date are shown on the frame inspired by the world of Vacheron Constantine watch design. After picking the time and date the stars that appear in the sky
are shown clearly on the blue background representing the horizon line.

Made in collaberation with Clarisse Mordet
