for Reuge

A music box inspired by contemporary music products. On first sight the music box appears as a modern speaker or radio. The design was created using the traditional music box materials but with different finishing’s and details in order to create a new design esthetic. The key, which becomes a main element in the design takes its shape from the traditional Reuge key and volume buttons on music products. This music box can be hung on a wall or stationed on a table. While the music is played the key turns slowly.
